Dwel is headed by Michael McGuinness, a Wisconsin native who has lived and worked out of Milwaukee for over 10 years. After graduating from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2001, he freelanced his interest in as a painter, illustrator,and designer. However, it wasn’t until his discovery of interior murals that he felt home at last. Murals and decorative finishes blended his passion for design, as well as painting. He has worked with leading companies of the Milwaukee area before branching out on his own to start Dwel Wall Design.

Dwel belives that interior wall design adds value and meaning to the spaces they create. A well
designed interior mural or finish can personalize, dignify, provoke, enthrall, dramatize, and add sophistication.
